The Pitch Sells to SouthComm of Nashville: In a bit of an unexpected move, Nashville-based SouthComm Inc. has purchased Kansas City alt-weekly The Pitch from Village Voice Media. Current editor Joe Tone has elected to stay with Village Voice, which means that he will be leaving his post as editor. Managing editor Scott Wilson will be taking his place until a permanent appointment is made.
