For the second year in a row, Northwest Missouri State University has won free American Advertising Federation-Kansas City memberships for having the most students in attendance at Spark KC.
NWMSU had 48 attendees at the day-long career conference. Other schools in attendance included the University of Kansas, Kansas State University, University of Missouri, Ottawa University and Benedictine College, among others.
AAF-KC thanks NWMSU for their continued support with special thanks to professor Jacquie Lamer.
Spark KC, Kansas City’s only advertising career conference, brought together over 250 students for a day-long educational event that included speakers from a variety of advertising disciplines, panel discussions, resume and portfolio reviews, and a career fair.
AAF-KC is one of the largest chapters of the American Advertising Federation in the United States. It hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including events specifically for students. Along with hosting Spark KC in the fall, AAF-KC hosts Match KC–an internship “speed dating” event–in the spring. This year's Match KC will be held on February 8, 2018.
