Caleb Brattrud has worked in the advertising industry as a director, writer, and producer for over 10 years. In that time he's directed and produced over 200 television commercials and has lent his talents to music videos, web videos, and film. He's been recognized for his commercial directing work with multiple Addy, Telly, Hermes and AMBIT awards.

Outside of his commercial work, Caleb is a critically acclaimed writer and director of film. His most recent short, the dark drama "Someday," was shot in Kansas City and starred Academy award-winning actor Wes Studi. “Someday” has gone on to receive multiple festival awards across the country and has been described as a “tour de force” by legendary Kansas City film critic, Robert Butler.

Caleb has directed and produced shoots for clients all over the world and is looking forward to bringing that experience to 8183 Studio.

“We’ve been a well-known stills house for a decade now,” says Ryan Hill, Owner and Photographer at 8183. “Bringing Caleb on as our Director means we’ve instantly become a full service production studio that is capable of producing projects for clients all over the U.S. as well as internationally. I’m extremely excited with what we’re able to do for our clients now!”
