Treefall Marketing + Creative, the marketing agency division of Allen Press, is looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and well-rounded Digital Marketing Strategist to join our team. The Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing digital strategies for Allen Press/Treefall and its clients. This includes website strategy and administration, social media, SEO/SEM, digital advertising, inbound marketing, and lead generation. This is a highly visible position within the company and qualified candidates should be comfortable working in cross-functional teams, speaking at events, and leading accounts, prospects and customers.

Requirements/Qualifications: 

1. 3+ years of professional experience in digital marketing, social media, or content marketing   

2. College degree or equivalent in marketing, journalism, strategic communications, or related field   

3. Excellent copy writing and content development skills  

4. Deep understanding of inbound marketing principles and lead generation   

5. Demonstrated experience managing WordPress websites   

6. Prior experience with Google Analytics and social media analytics   

7. Prior experience managing paid digital advertising campaigns   

8. Proficiency working with inbound marketing and marketing automation platforms   

9. Working knowledge of HTML and CSS   

10. A self-starter who is highly organized, detailed, and focused   

11. Strong analytical and creative thinking skills   

12. Growth-minded and curious   

13. Excellent communication, collaboration, and team skills   

14. Ability to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple tasks, and work outside of business hours when necessary  

15. Knack for excelling under pressure   

16. Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software and digital applications  

1. Perform job duties and conducts self in accordance with Allen Press, Inc. core values    

2. Strategize creative and innovate solutions to marketing, business, and communications challenges   

3. Strategize, develop and implement results-focused digital marketing strategies and tactics for Allen Press/Treefall and its clients   

4. Maintain ownership of corporate websites, working with team members to coordinate content, create stimulating visual graphics, and execute inbound marketing strategies   

5. Define and manage inbound marketing processes, workflows, and strategies   

6. Develop effective lead generation strategies and tactics   

7. Maintain ownership of corporate social media channels  

8. Plan, schedule, write and coordinate social media content  

9. Perform keyword research to drive content marketing decisions   

10. Write and edit marketing content for print and digital channels   

11. Perform on-page SEO tactics and link building strategies   

12. Manage paid digital advertising campaigns through both search and social networks   

13. Track all digital metrics and analytics and report on performance benchmarks   

14. Perform competitive analyses and proactively recommend changes in strategy   

15. Monitor market trends, competitors, and factors relevant to client business   

16. Conduct primary and secondary market research to better understand target audiences   

17. Write, prepare, and deliver client presentations and marketing proposals   

18. Oversee the work of internal and external stakeholders, such as designers, marketers, and freelancers   

19. Produce and oversee detailed project plans and timelines, documenting each step of the project, key personnel, deliverables, resources, and deadlines   

20. Maintain accurate timesheets and project reports as well as department wikis, how to’s, and workflow documentation    

21. Continuously improve professional skills and maintain a growth mindset
