Job Description: 

This cross-functional role requires passionate consumer/customer understanding, analytical skills, attention to details, project management expertise, leadership, and creative thinking. This person will need to exhibit foundational brand marketing skills while performing critical brand functions, supporting all of the proprietary brands that are owned and manufactured by Bass Pro Shops.

Requirements/Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related field
  • 2-4 years experience required in advertising, marketing or media preferred
  • Have a love for the outdoors
  • An entrepreneurial spirit – start-up mentality
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized
  • Proven ability to multi-task projects, meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for the effective execution of the annual marketing programs and tactics with each company brand, working collaboratively with marketing senior leadership team
  • Provide research/insight and contribute to the development of annual brand marketing plans
  • Monitor and manage budgets/spending for all brand marketing programs and tactics
  • Analyze internal and external data to help identify product opportunities and rationale and to track the performance of each camping brand and competitive set
  • Work in partnership with product development and merchandising teams to develop technical stories for each brand
  • Provide senior marketing leadership team with brand information and background that will allow them to create programs that will drive consumer interaction and engagement
  • Develop a deep and thorough understanding of competitive trends, competitor marketing, competitive product introductions and overall category performance
  • Influence and persuade through effective written and oral communication
  • Assist in other projects as assigned by Director of Marketing
